The primary motivation behind this update was to align the extension with Google Chrome’s latest requirements and keep it alive in the Chrome Web Store. Google is phasing out extensions built on Manifest V2 as part of their efforts to enhance security and performance. By migrating to Manifest V3, we’ve ensured that our extension stays compliant with these updated policies, allowing users to continue benefiting from it without interruptions.
Improved Functionality
In addition to the Manifest V3 upgrade, we took this opportunity to refine the extension’s core functionality, if we can speak of such thing in this simple button. It should work slightly faster now, although that was neglegable.
